How to delete your data

Last updated: August 21, 2026

It depends on whether you've ever signed in.

If you've never signed in, we hold nothing about you: it's all on your phone. Go straight to step 2.

If you've used remote care, you have an account and there is data on our server. Start at step 1.

1. Delete your account and what's on the server

In the app: Settings → Remote care → Delete my account. This deletes your account, your links, any uploaded doses, your automatic email summaries and any links that had been sent. It's immediate and can't be undone.

Your medication is untouched. Reminders, schedules and your history live on the phone and stay there: deleting the account only switches off remote care.

If you'd rather we did it, write to vitacare-privacy@novemasolutions.com from the email you signed in with. We resolve it within one month at most, usually in days.

Three things you can do without deleting anything:

  • Revoke a link (Remote care → the person → Stop sharing): that person stops seeing your doses immediately, and your account stays.
  • Withdraw an automatic summary (Remote care → Email summaries → Withdraw): it stops being sent, and the links already sent stop working right away. Your doses also go back to being kept for one week instead of four, and the record of days with a signal and your next appointment are deleted.
  • Sign out: your phone stops uploading and immediately deletes any doses on the server. Your account and links stay, so you don't have to ask permission again if you ever come back.

After deleting the account, copies may remain in our provider's backups for up to 30 days, along with Google Play billing records, which the law requires us to keep and which contain nothing about your medication.

2. Delete the data on your phone

Uninstall the app. That removes everything Vita Care stored on your device: medications, doses, appointments, profiles and photos.

You can also clear it without uninstalling, from Android Settings → Apps → Vita Care → Storage → Clear data.

3. Delete the Google Drive backup

If you connected your account, there's a copy in a private folder of your own Drive:

  1. Google Drive → Settings → Manage apps.
  2. Find Vita Care.
  3. Options → Delete hidden app data.

You can also revoke access from your Google account's permissions page.

4. If you need help

Write to vitacare-support@novemasolutions.com and we'll walk you through it.
